The home

Big windows, a warm stove, room for everyone

The great room is the heart of the house. A vaulted ceiling rises to a wall of gable windows full of pine trunks, and a wood-burning stove sits on a stone hearth in the corner. A deep sectional faces it, so there's a seat for everyone after a day outside.

The kitchen opens onto the same room. Five stools line the quartz island, a farmhouse table seats six more, and the gas range and full set of cookware handle big group dinners. A slider leads straight out to the deck for grilling and eating outside.

Upstairs, the open loft is the kids' domain: two sets of bunk beds with trundles, plus a second living area with its own TV, a long sectional, two desks for remote work and a stack of games. Fly-In Lake is about a 10-minute walk, and the Blue Lake Springs pool and Lodge Lake are a 3-minute drive.
